Invite and remove members from a team, how to manager the users in Fabriq ?

Accessing team members

Step 1: Access your team settings

Step 2: click on the "MEMBERS" tab

Invite members who already have an account

  • Click on add a member

  • Search for the member's name

  • Click on the name

  • Done!

πŸ”” The user will receive a notification that he/ she has been added to the team.

Invite a member who does not have an account

  • Click on add a member

  • Enter the member's email address

  • Click on "Invite XXX via e-mail

  • Select the new user's role in the team

  • Click on "Validate"

Note : you can invite several members at once by adding a "," between the email addresses.

  • You will then see the list of users you want to invite

For each account you will need to specify the "ACCOUNT TYPE" and the "COMMUNICATION EMAIL".

Here are the 3 choices available to you

Account type

Explanation

Internal e-mail account

This is an employee of your company who has an active mailbox. The communication email will be similar to the one you entered.

Generic account

For example :

  • an employee of your company who does not have an email address

  • a shared identifier that you want to create to assign to a screen, for example.

The address you have entered is not a real email. You will therefore need to add a "communication email".

This email will enable you to receive password reset emails, for example.

External e-mail account

This is a person who has an active email but is not part of your organization and therefore has an email domain name (part after the @ in your mail) different from that of your company.

It may be, for example, an external consultant or one of your customers to whom you want to give access to Fabriq.

πŸ“© The user will receive an email inviting him/ her to create a Fabriq account.

Once it is done, it will be automatically added to the team.

In case you are in SSO

The user will receive an invitation email to log in. They will not need to create a password or enter their first and last names. They will log in with their professional identifiers.

To remove a member of a team

Click on the bin located on the right of the user.
