🔎 Open the tickets behind an Analytics chart

Click a segment of a ticket chart in the Analytics tab to open the list of tickets behind it, across all the teams in your filters.

Written by Melchior Larere

Every ticket chart in the Analytics tab is built from real tickets. Click a segment of the chart to open the list of those tickets in a side panel, without leaving the page and without going team by team.

Supported charts

The ticket list opens from the following charts of the Tickets analytics:

  • Tickets by category

  • Tickets by status

  • Tickets by label

  • Ticket depth

  • Team self-reliance

Open the ticket list

  1. Click Analytics in the left panel, then open the Tickets analytics.

  2. Set your filters: sites or teams, period, categories, statuses, labels. The charts and the ticket list follow the same filters.

  3. Click a segment of a chart: a slice of a pie chart, a bar of a Pareto or bar chart.

The ticket list opens on the right and pushes the charts aside. Its title names the chart and the segment you clicked. It contains the tickets counted in that segment, from every team selected in your filters, sorted by creation date.

💡 Click another segment to update the list. The chart scrolls into view so you always see which segment the list refers to. Click the close icon at the top of the panel to give the charts their full width back.

Browse and edit the tickets

  • Switch between the All, Open and Archived tabs. Each tab shows its ticket count.

  • Click a ticket to open it. You can read and edit it as from any other ticket list.

  • Press Escape or click the close icon to close the ticket and come back to the list.

Good to know

  • The ticket list is available in the Analytics tab only. Analytics widgets on dashboards do not open it.

  • You see the tickets of the teams you have access to in Analytics: the teams you belong to, or your whole site if you are a site administrator.
